ANTARCTICAa journey for life

This is the "introduction book" in the project "POLARfever – about Arctic & Antarctica" that Erik Malm is working with. All the images are from a 19 days long reconnoitring journey that he made to the Falkland Islands; to South Georgia Island, South Orkney Islands, South Shetland Islands and to the Antarctic Peninsula in November 2004.

"Antarctica, our seventh continent, always has been and presumably always will be the continent of discoverers. Erik Malm is one of the new discoverers, capturing this inaccessible part of the world with his camera. His work gives us, his readers, an opportunityto share his delight in discovering while drinking our coffee. Erik's photos are exceptional. I have never seen this environment depicted with such skill, emotion and knowledge before.
(written by the Secretary General of the World Wide Fund of Nature WWF in Sweden)
